Grinder Care

If your grinder comes apart don’t worry, this is normal! It’s designed to be cleaned easily.

To avoid this, grind in one direction and tighten the nut before each use.

Store your grinder in a dry place (not above the stove), and if it gets gunky, wash it with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before refilling.

For best performance, keep your grinder fully loaded. If spices aren’t grinding, it’s time for a refill!

Adjust coarseness with the "winged nut" inside the cap: turn right for finer, left for coarser (but don’t over-tighten).

If you believe your grinder failed prematurely, send us a description and photos. We’re happy to help with reasonable requests. Please keep in mind, we are a spice company, not a grinder manufacturing company. We therefore cannot offer the small individual parts for grinders BUT we are happy to offer replacement lids and glass jars, available below.
